Atlanta Downtown Festival (All Day)
The Atlanta Downtown Neighborhood Association (ADNA) will present the 9TH annual Atlanta Downtown Festival, a showcase of downtown life on May 22, 2010, in Downtown Atlanta. This year’s festival represents a change of pace — it’s planned to be a celebration of the downtown rooftops with a street-level festival held on West Peachtree Place co-sponsored by Social Resto and the 2nd Annual Scavenger Hunt. The food, music, and artists will definitely have a Mediterranean influence. The rooftop tour will include a lounge area with DJ/artist/or chef on each roof, historical information about the buildings and surrounding area, as well as provide architectural and skyscraper buffs the opportunity to access some the of best views in the city. The Scavenger Hunt will also highlight historical sites and public art works in the downtown area. Hunters will discover the wide range of amenities in our neighborhood like historical sites, parks, and restaurants and eateries. The Downtown Festival is a resident-led event is designed to showcase the vibrancy of downtown living. The Festival is produced and managed by Downtown residents who volunteer their time to the event. Through the years ADNA has been lucky enough to receive sponsorship from both large national companies as well as smaller local businesses. The Atlanta Downtown Neighborhood Association (ADNA) is a non-profit civic association representing several thousand households in Downtown Atlanta. ADNA is committed to helping develop a better quality of life for Downtown residents and businesses.
