Black History Month 2012
Black In Film:
A Series of Conversations and a Showcase of Historical Lineage in Cinema
Join us at 2:00 pm each Saturday in February for the Black In Film Speaker Series. The Black in Film Speaker Series is presented by the African American Cinema Gallery and The Peachtree Village International Film Festival. The series takes you on a journey along a path of success stories and triumphs of African American cinema artists. This journey will give you a practical lesson on the Black experience in Hollywood. It is meant to inspire people to appreciate the value of black film and literature through creative thinking, dreaming and turning that dream into a reality. Immediately following each screening, a Q&A session will take place. A panel of cinema experts will be onsite to answer questions about the film industry.
